The trip was to be 12 Colorado Passes in 4 days. This is a route from the June 2005 issue of RoadRunner, an excellent motorcycle touring magazine. We (Robert Voglino and Mike Atkinson) modified the route and had a great time. Trip report is in the forum.

Rocky Mountain National Park and a herd of 6-10 elk. Hard to tell how many because a number of them were lying down. A crowd had gathered and some were approaching the wildlife, ignorant of what a 1200 pound cow protecting babies might do!
