Opt out of unsolicited credit cards

Checked it out (Google "fraud optoutprescreen") and got comfortable that this was the site: important because it requires your SSN. I took the 5 year opt out.

There are three national reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) and you can get the report on all three from either the website or the mail.
