How to tie down a BMW motorcycle
Submitted by CaptainJustice on Tue, 08/15/2006 - 8:44pm.I thought this reference to be worth keeping. The BMW has to be tied down differently from most, and not from the handlebars. There is a great article from BMW Aftersales that has photos and very explicit instructions. You will need soft-ties to accomplish this.

Wildflower Escorting
Submitted by CaptainJustice on Sat, 04/02/2005 - 7:04pm.No, silly. We did not escort wildflowers but we did see a bunch! Escorted the Hill Country Advocacy Center's annual fund-raising bicycle ride, the Wildflower Pedal Power ride originating from the pavilion on RR 1 near the LBJ Ranch. Thanks to the guys who helped: Mike Atkinson, Mike Cornett and his San Antonio riding buddies Tom Wilmotte and Dick Kreutzer.

List of Replacement Alternator Belts
I needed to help someone find a replacement alternator belt on the road and waisted a lot of time searching for aftermarket numbers. I am sure you can understand how frustrating it can be trying to deal with the people who... lack imagination ;-) and that includes some dealers. I want to compile a list of replacement belts, please check and comment if you have additional information, Thanks!
