Storms are Wonderful

I love storms. Growing up in West Texas I thought the finest sunsets and thunderstorms were there. But the Hill Country has them also. Check out this sample:

Extreme Instability

Site has tornado and other storm-chasing and at http://www.extremeinstability.com/04-11-8.htm has some beautiful shots of the Northern Lights. Lots of other great photography on the site as well.

Graphics Programs

There's a neat little company named Alchemy Mindworks that produces some quality graphics software at a reasonable price. Includes a graphics "workshop" program for manipulating images, a GIF construction set, a PNG/MNG construction set and some other stuff. They also keep it up to date on a frequent basis with constant improvements, mostly at no additional cost.
